Southern Spain
Founded in 1959, the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina is one of Marbella’s most prestigious and historic golf clubs. With its two 18-hole courses, North and South, it provides a unique challenge for players of all skill levels.
The South Course, designed in 1959, is the older and more challenging of the two. It is particularly favored by experienced golfers due to its narrow and well-protected fairways, including one hole that reaches the Mediterranean Sea. The North Course, built in 1973 under the supervision of Folco Nardi, is shorter and more rugged, featuring numerous water hazards that add a different strategic element.
The Real Club de Golf Guadalmina is renowned for its prestigious golf academy, which has produced several Spanish and European champions, including Azahara Muñoz and Noemí Jiménez. In 2008, the club was honored with the title of **Real Club** by His Majesty the King of Spain, highlighting its importance in the golfing world.
